With UNSCAR funds, the Ministry of Defence [of Fiji] and PSAAG [Pacific Islands Small Arms Action Group] held a three-day national workshop in Fiji.

"The workshop was opened by the Ministry of Defence’s Permanent Secretary, who shared positive views towards the ratification of the Treaty. These views were featured in the National Fiji newspaper the following day. 1.5 days focused on the UNPoA. This included reviewing Fiji’s current adherence to the UNPoA provisions to identify gaps in legislation and procedures and training on the ISACS.”
