Germany promotes development and application of ISACS


"After four years of work on their development, the International Small Arms Control Standards (ISACS) were presented in August 2012 during the second Review Conference on the Programme of Action on Small Arms and Light Weapons. Up to 300 experts, including some Germans, were involved in developing this compendium for small arms control. Using ISACS, it will in future be possible to devise indicators and benchmarks for small arms control, thus helping states assess and improve their actions at national level in this field."
